Red Trouser Day Season is very here and very active:
Robert Chapman ran his fantastic annual Pool & Darts Hustle Night, raising money for 4 charities including Red Trouser Day, this is looking to have generated £6k for us, well done Robert. I did buy the Seafood hamper and Scallops Breakfast, to be enjoyed soon I hope, albeit at the crack of dawn 😊
Geoff & Jill Morris put on a superb 4th Red Trouser Golf Day, kindly sponsored by One Golf and many others. As a result of Clive & Alison Purdy’s relationship with Essex Cricket Club, we were fortunate to have Ronnie Irani driving the auction for us which really was both amusing and a step up, thank you Ronnie. A great day was had by over 70 golfers followed by dinner for 85. The event has made a net profit of £10,217.
Julia and I are buying a cottage in Suffolk, (Bramley Cottage) and the current owners have agreed to sell their annual harvest of Bramley Apples in aid of Red Trouser Day, thank you to Chris & Lucy.
