RTD funds its first bowel cancer patient to attend a Great Escape Weekend, ran by the Shine charity, to support them with the life changing impact of their cancer and treatment.
Shine supports young patients, in their 20s, 30s and 40s and we are funding one bowel cancer patient to attend the Great Escape Weekend planned for the 10th to 13th October. Attending this weekend alone, there are no less than 6 patients undergoing treatment for anal and colorectal cancers. We hope to be able to fund many more patients through the Great Escape weekend.
