Co-Founder Julia, is a finalist in the Hertfordshire Heroes Award 2021

The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards were launched in 2012 to focus on, and celebrate, the expertise, achievements and outstanding contribution that businesses and individuals continually make to the growth of Hertfordshire.

We are very pleased to announce that having been entered for the Inspiring Herts Awards 2021 under the Hertfordshire Heroes 2020, Julia George is now listed as a finalist for a special recognition award. See the Finalists

Julia has lived in Potters Bar, Herts for over 40 years, and helped co-found Red Trouser Day, a volunteer run charity that raises funds for research, innovation and mental wellbeing to improve bowel cancer patient outcomes.

When the pandemic caused the lockdowns in March 2020, Julia launched a patient support community providing tremendous connectivity between the Red Trouser Day patients and senior clinicians from the Royal Marsden. These sessions have been running monthly ever since, providing much needed guidance, advice and education for anyone affected by Bowel Cancer during the difficult times of isolation for many.

Julia was entered for the award without her knowledge, the finals ceremony is on the 9th September and all her supporters, friends and family wish her every success in this highly justified award.

GOOD LUCK JULIA, bring it home
