We will be hearing from one of the worlds leading Gastrointestinal Imaging Consultants Professor Gina Brown (Imperial College). Red Trouser Day awarded £50k towards a project called Mercury 3 which is destined to transform bowel cancer diagnosis and seriousness of disease. Gina has been challenging the theory that active lymph nodes at the site of a tumour as the basis of bowel cancer staging and has proven this is not an accurate form of diagnosis. Come along and hear how Gina’s work is likely to transform NHS Standards of treatment.
